There are so many benefits to pavers. While we could list many aesthetic reasons to fall in love with pavers the primary reason is that they are durable and easy to replace. Pavers are durable because of the way they are installed. Instead of mortar grouting, pavers have a sand grouting, which prevents cracking. For example if there is any movement in the earth the pavers are able to flex. We may not get many earth quakes in Central Oregon, but we do see a lot of uprooted concrete driveways and walkways. If this happens to pavers we can just pull out the pavers and dig or cut out the root.
